A major player within Cyber Security space our client is in the fundamental stages of growth and wants you to join them on their exciting journey. As a result they are looking for a Pre Sales Engineer who will be responsible for acting as the technical bridge between the Sales Representatives, the channel partner network and their pre-sales customers. The Pre Sales Engineer will take ownership of the prime technical relationship with our client’s pre-sales customers and their channel partners to help close deals by proactively managing and delivering technical information to customers and channel partners either onsite, online, and via email/telephone. The Pre Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing a Proof of Concept service to pre-sales customers and help clients with planning and implementation our clients solution portfolio, provide support and training to the channel partner network and respond to technical requests from channel partners, be able to work in a fast-pace environment under minimal supervision and maintain and expand working knowledge of current and future products. The Pre Sales Engineer will provide software and network troubleshooting in complex customer environments, share best practices with other SEs to enhance quality of service and efficiency, provide product training and mentoring when required and contribute to building the SE Readiness Program and develop subject matter expertise in assigned products and solutions. The Pre Sales Engineer will be willing to travel regionally for customer facing activities across Europe, as well as marketing and user group events, participate in alliance projects including building vendors’ and customers’ relationships and deliver Channel feature requests to Product Management to enhance our clients solution portfolio. The successful candidate will have a BS degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent, be experienced in sales engineering/ professional services, and hold experience with working with various Microsoft software and systems, specifically Active Directory, windows platforms servers and station. The successful candidate will also have experience and an understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), SSL, X509, and preferably also experience with IIS, Tomcat, Apache, F5. Solid multi-tasking, troubleshooting and problem resolution abilities will also be prerequisites of the position. As a person the successful candidate will be a self-starter and quick learner with the desire to continually learn new tools and technologies, and have strong verbal and written communication, customer service, account management and negotiation skills, with the ability to interface with a diverse set of clients including administrators and C-level executives. Other desired skills and experiences will include exposure to Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, experience with VMware vCenter and VDI and network infrastructure together with knowledge and understanding of MS Windows and Active Directory, and Certificate Services, MS Exchange, IIS and SQL, PKI, SSL and X509. From a certified perspective, the successful candidate will have one or more of the following certifications; VCP – VMware Certified Professional, CIISP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional, MCP – Microsoft Certified Professional, MSCE – Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, Linux, /Solaris/UNIX System Administration and or AWS/Cloud Certification. Presales Consultant – ERP Solutions

A leading ERP solutions provider, my client is on the lookout for a Presales Consultant. The Presales Consultant will be responsible for the technical and strategic solutions content of the sales cycle. The focus will be on supporting the Sales and Marketing functions in delivering sales revenue through proposition development, IP development, and winning bids. In order to be successful the Presales Consultant will be responsible for advising and defining business solutions by helping to solve business and technical challenges through the provision of specialist subject matter expertise, support sales and win business through taking complete ownership of the solution proposition and plans in proposals and bids process together with developing and leading new commercial propositions by working with consulting, marketing and sales to take them from inception to execution. The Presales Consultant will also be working with clients and colleagues to identify key solutions requirements through a number of techniques including (but not limited to) interviews, ITT interpretation and Design Thinking workshops, able to work with Sales and Delivery to define innovative technical solutions to deliver on the clients requirements as well as translate proposed solutions into winning presentations and demonstrations. The successful candidate will be a recognised SAP Technology subject matter expert and actively seeks to improve and extend personal knowledge through learning and direct exposure as well as be able to identify and builds relationships with relevant SAP and industry contacts who can help in the pursuit of being a matter expert. Key Performance indicators for the role will include actively demonstrating achievement of revenue and utilisation targets, up to date PDP demonstrating regular monitoring of progress and achievement together with achievement of individual objectives and habitually demonstrate my client values and behaviours. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years track record in successfully delivering SAP (or very similar) solutions, have shown significant progression in more than one capability but specialism in one, be recognised as the authority and is well respected within the team for their specialism. The candidate will also have experience in demonstrating thought leadership, be very comfortable operating in a “front of house” role and have clear evidence of close working relationships with Sales and Marketing professionals.
Presales Consultant – Network Security

My client is a key player in the Network Security market space. They are now looking to bring on-board a Presales Consultant in order to assist sales personnel in the qualification of Enterprise customer needs and the delivery of web demonstrations. The Presales Consultant will be responsible for participating on one or more strategic account in either a support or a lead role, provide mentoring and training to peers and other colleagues within the organisation, conduct product demonstrations both on a standard and tailored basis to prospects and existing customers both onsite and via webex and conduct the generation of product demo scripts and scenarios together with maintaining demonstration environments. The Presales Consultant will also be responsible for scoping and delivering Proof of Concept/ Proof of Value engagements with prospective customers, respond to requests for information/product documents, stay current on product development/ releases to a level required for demo and POC/POV and support marketing events such as trade shows, user conferences and webinars etc. A key part of the role for the Presales Consultant would also be to stay current on competitive analysis and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors, understand business and technical problems addressed by the products such as business drivers, key regulations, security, evolving business needs etc and work in conjunction with sales personnel and professional services in order to conduct transition briefings, communicate commitments, expectations etc in preparation for deployment. Acting as a subject matter expert at executive briefing and marketing events will also be key within the position. The successful candidate will have Strong Pre-sales experience, ITSM experience would be advantageous (Tool or business process), will bring mastery of the Sales process and trusted advisor for account representative, will exhibits prior and current technical expertise in web and desktop technology and the ability to learn new technology, have exceptional communication and presentation skills to include technical and business concepts and have an in-depth understanding of and experience selling to enterprise IT architecture. The successful candidate will also have a background in ITIL, Service Management, Asset Management, IT Management, experience working with or understanding of Large Resale Partners, Outsourcers, or Systems Integrators, have the ability to relate to a wide range of technical staff, managers and executives in customer environments, bring strong organisational skills with ability to handle various tasks with attention to detail and have strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work well with others as part of a team.
