My client, a Principal BI partner for Microsoft and a leading Analytics provider within the UK is now looking for a Sales Director to exploit substantial growth over the coming years and further develop a successful business model. Reporting to the Analytics MD, The Sales Director will be accountable for delivering the revenue and the business plan in line with the companywide target; this is by leadership of the sales department, close collaboration and joint working with consulting and use of the marketing team to develop and implement a business plan. The Sales Director will harness support from internal & external partners to ensure the identification, qualification & realisation of the business opportunities. In addition, the Sales Director will be expected to act as a Lead among his peer group and participate in cross-company strategy groups to drive organisational performance. The ideal candidate will have a long track record within sales and marketing in the software/consulting industry showing year on year success, a solid proven man management experience running sales teams with the software/consulting industry (ideally Business Intelligence/Analytics), operate where deal values are typically £100k to £500k plus with annual sales revenue targets of £1-£2 million per annum, and Ideally have experience in the Analytics arena. Other pre requisites expected from the ideal candidate would be to have experience of selling recurring revenues as well as project based sales, experience in building and managing Business development functions, experience both in mid-size companies and corporate accounts with a track record in both new name customer winning as well as development of a large customer base and ideally experience and both software vendor and channel partner. The Sales Director will be a Self starter, leader and motivator who can run standalone a large sales team without the need for substantial direction from above, someone that is culturally aligned to a midsize international business with the freedom to act but with certain global rules and constraints, with comprehensive resources with the UK business, through sister and parent company but not a bottomless pit, be able to work from London office minimum 3 days per week to lead the team, Offers potential to grow into other roles within the business and has the ability to develop and evolve future sales director from sales team.

Our client a hardware & software solutions provider has had nearly 20 years of success in understanding their customer’s technical requirements and delivering solutions that fits both their customers’ technical needs aligned with their budget. As time has developed so has my client’s technical offerings and as a result they now require a first class Client Relationship Manager to be responsible for continued growth, client relationship strengthening and satisfaction. The Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for engaging and building strong rapport with internal account managers in order to explore all the potential options and opportunities that can be developed and sold into the account manager’s customer base via techniques such as GAP Analysis.. This will includes but not be limited to; understanding and creating a detailed brief of the areas where the customer base is currently not taking advantage of all the services and solutions provided by our client, the reasons why they are not investing in those areas, and the pain points they are experiencing within their business as well as with their other solution providers. The Client Relationship Manager will have in-depth technical knowledge with a broad section of manufacturers and vendors, with a keen eye for detail in preparing accurate, timely and informative reports on customer visits /review meetings and associate “action plans” with the internal account managers with the aim to increase customer spend. This role will be 50% internal as well as 50% external developing into a more external position as the Client Relationship Manager develops their relationships with their account manager’s customer base. The typical average order value will be anything between £10k to £100k mainly dependant on the level of engagement with the end customer. The ideal Client Relationship Manager will demonstrate experience on working in a similar role, have the ability to actively listen and communicate effectively, and have great relationship building skills with both their internal customers (internal account managers) as well as their external customers.

Having more than doubled their revenue within the last two years they are now looking for an exceptional Senior Business Development Manager to continue the company’s recent rapid growth. My clients Analytics division is embarking on a recruitment program to identify Senior Business Development Managers who are Sector Specialists with a proven track records of sales within sectors such as Finance, Public Sector, Retail, Utilities, Telecommunications, Wholesale & Distribution and Manufacturing. In addition to the opportunity to extend the Analytics revenue from clients, the Senior Business Development Manager (Sector Specialist) will have the opportunity to sell/introduce ERP, Planning & Consolidations, CRM and HCM in the right customers and contacts and/or to bring in experienced colleagues to support sales within these areas. Senior Business Development Manager (Sector Specialist) will be expected to own their allocated sector by creating a sector plan which identifies how they expect to achieve the annual target from the sector, covering markets, companies, products, individual targets and more importantly how to build long term relationships with clients by proposing, qualifying and agreeing strategic roadmaps. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of one or more of the sectors mentioned above, will be expected to demonstrate their knowledge of one or more of the above sectors driving down into a full understanding of the market size, structure, potential growth to be gained and major organisations within the sector or sectors. The successful candidate will also have knowledge of current and predicted market drivers and industry “pain points”, together with relationships with and knowledge of key contacts within their sector. Having a proven history in selling within one or more of the sectors listed above, a track record of success reaching and exceeding revenue and margin targets set by previous employers and having a comprehensive knowledge of software products and consultancy services in BI, together with a strong work ethic demonstrating a naturally competitive nature combined with attention to detail and excellent communication and people skills will all be essential parts of the role. Full comprehensive support in areas such as marketing, lead generation and qualification, sector and account planning will be provided, in addition to the Senior Business Development Manager (Sector Specialist) having the full support of the UK Exec to escalate contact and provide insight into regional and global support.
